Most zoos are non profit organizations but they are in place to help these animals to survive. They also offer plenty of education to people so that they will realize the importance of these animals. It is extremely expensive to operate any size of zoo and that is there is a price you are charged before you can go inside. They also rely upon grants and private donations. Safety is a major issue that has to be addressed at all zoos. The animals must be safe at all times in order to ensure their survival. Those that care for them also need to be kept safe. There are various policies in place when they are interacting with the animals and feeding them to help reduce the risk of any type of attacks. Individuals that are visiting at a zoo also want to know they are safe as they are exploring. Some individuals don’t believe in the concept of zoos though.
